NetWorks is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation and is the foremost online community for exemplary resources in semiconductors, automated manufacturing, and electronics training and education.

NCTT – is an Advanced Technological Education Center of Excellence in the instruction of Telecommunications Engineering Technologies housed within Springfield Technical Community College. Funded through a National Science Foundation grant (DUE-0302548), NCTT is charged with leading a national collaborative of business and education partners to develop and disseminate an always relevant, industry-driven curriculum to teach and train tomorrow's Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) technicians and technologists.

OP-TEC – is a National Center of Excellence in Advanced Technological Education in optics and photonics. It has developed materials and strategies for infusing appropriate optics and photonics into semiconductor manufacturing curriculum. Funded through a National Science Foundation grant (DUE-0603275), OP-TEC is committed to developing a robust supply of well-educated engineering technicians to maintain the nation's technical and economic dominance in photonics, lasers, and related technologies. OP-TEC has formed strategic partnerships with many professional associations and postsecondary institutions.

The Southwest Center for Microsystems Education (SCME) SCME provides the microsystems industry with workforce development models, materials, and professional development opportunities for communities developing microsystems technology clusters. The SCME will assist the MEMS industry in establishing national skill standards for technicians and creating a skilled microsystems workforce.
