SEMATECH, a non-profit research and development consortium of U.S. semiconductor manufacturers, has created a website that highlights education and career opportunities for the semiconductor industry. The site features an industry outlook, interviews with real life techs who work in the "Fab," and educational paths that will take you there. Resources include a list of speakers and other materials about the industry. 

The Semiconductor Industry Association is the leading trade association representing the computer chip industry. Their web site contains links to member companies.

Looking for some career guidance? Working in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry is a virtual presentation for students, parents and educators that introduces the semiconductor manufacturing industry, suggests training and educational programs, and offers valuable advice for securing a job.
